This is a story about a boy Peter. Peter was youngest son of his family. He had two brothers and a sister. All of them were well educated and settled in their lives. But, Peter discontinued his schooling and roamed around the village with his fellow companions. His father got tired of scolding him repeatedly by seeing his irresponsibility. So, his father ordered him to look after their goats. In order to feed the goats he used to walk 2 kilo metres every day.

In the middle of his way he would cross the railway bridge where he would see the train going across exactly in the same time. He used to say bye to the Railway Officer who had been standing in the engine part of the train. He became a friend to the Railway Officer by doing this regularly.

In the next day, when he was about to cross the railway bridge, he noticed that the railway bridge was heavily affected by the previous day’s rain. If the train passed through the bridge it would have cause a big train accident in the history. In order to save more than 500 passengers’ life who were travelling in the train, he decided to stop the train by shaking his hands heavily on the air.

Unfortunately, the Railway Officer thought that he was saying bye to him which he used to do regularly. Peter came and stood in the middle of the track and kept on shaking his hands but he failed in his attempts. Then he peeled off his shirt and started waving on the air more seriously than before. At the very particular time, the Railway Officer realized that something was wrong, so he ordered to stop the train immediately.

The train was stopped at the very edge point of the bridge. The railway officer came out of the train and appreciated Peter by hugging him. The boy, who did not get good name throughout his life, saved five hundred souls of the train. 

Moral: We should help others though we are not in the position to help.
